We wanted to offer a true, fully forged 1000hp version of the LT5 , but in a full ready to swap drivetrain. In fact before its discontinuation we were planning on using LT5 blowers. Originally we planned on releasing the LT.R in late 2020, but if you remember those times, parts were scarce and hard to acquire. This gave us more time to test and develop a few parts specific to our LT.R and LTX Engines.
The ESS LT.R Engines are brand new. They have L8T Cranks, Carrillo Bullet rods, and our custom Forged pistons for the LTX and LT.R. These come standard with ported heads GM race lifters and Either our turbo or blower cam
