At the heart of this setup is a Gen 4 6.0L iron block featuring a Callies 8ccw crank, Carillo Boostline rods, and custom Wiseco pistons — all coming together to make a snappy 400 cubic-inch combo.
Sure, 408s, 427s, and 4xx builds sound cool, but we’ve had incredible success with our “little” 400ci boost-loving monster. This engine easily makes 1,000 horsepower, which is plenty for most builds — and if you want more, we’ve got options for that too.
Here’s the best part — we’ve locked in a solid connection for 4L80 transmissions, but we’re also equipped to pair the LS.R with the 10-speed automatic, yes, even for your NBS, NNBS, or F-body.
